About the Role:

As the Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of the company's sales efforts. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to drive revenue growth and ensure clients receive tailored solutions that meet their logistics needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the logistics sector.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

  • Develop tailored proposals and logistics solutions for potential clients.

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new customers.

Requirements

About You:

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the logistics, freight, or supply chain sector.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient in a competitive market.

  • Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions for client needs.

  • Full NZ driver’s license and flexibility for occasional travel.
