With a passion for excellence and a people-first approach, they are seeking a HR Manager to lead and develop their human resources function and support their ambitious growth plans.
About the Role:
As the HR Manager, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for shaping a positive workplace culture and ensuring that all HR practices support business success. You will oversee recruitment, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives across multiple hospitality venues.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract top hospitality talent.
Partner with management to drive a positive, high-performance workplace culture.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with employment legislation and company values.
Manage employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and fairness.
Coordinate learning and development programs to support employee growth and career pathways.
Monitor and report on HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and performance.
Support workforce planning and organisational development projects.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws, health & safety regulations, and company standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on all HR-related matters.

Requirements
About You:
Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor, ideally within the hospitality, tourism, or service sectors.
Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment law and HR best practices.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for people and service.
Ability to influence, coach, and build strong working relationships at all levels.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
